Frequently Asked Questions

As with most websites, there are a series of questions that we are consistently being asked by our clients. We strive to answer questions our clients have with clarity. Read below to see if your question falls among this list:

Q      What’s my portal password?

A  Portal passwords are created by each user, and we do not have any access to them. If you forget your password there is a “forgot password” link that can be clicked on the portal login page.

Q      I didn’t receive my password reset email or an authorization code from the portal. Can you help?

A  Sometimes these emails may take a few minutes to reach your inbox. Please be patient- clicking to receive another email will cause the first email to be invalid (which means you’ll have to wait for the subsequent email).

  • To ensure that you receive all communications from our portal please add the following email addresses to your “safe senders” list:

Q      I can’t access my e-file authorization forms on Adobe. What’s my password?

A  Password instructions are included in the Adobe DocuSign email, along with the link to sign the forms. It is NOT the same as your password for the client portal.

Q      I clicked on one of the documents uploaded to my portal but I’m not seeing it. Where is it?

A  Most computers are set to automatically send downloaded files to a folder on your computer called “downloads.”

  • If you don’t see the document in your downloads folder then check your browser settings. Make sure you are allowing pop-ups and automatic downloads for the site. If you need additional assistance, refer to these links:

Q      How can I pay my invoice?

A  Invoices can be paid online; the only card we don’t take is American Express. You can also call the office and we can take payment over the phone, or you can mail a check. Links to paying your invoice online can be found:

  • On the invoice itself

  • In the signature portion of emails from Hark and Associates, PC employees

  • On our website in the top right-hand corner
